We are happy to share the Career Journey of Mohd. Shehzad, an alumnus of Amrapali Institute of Hotel Management.

Dear Alumni Committee,

I am excited to share the inspiring story of my career journey as an alumna of Amrapali Institute of Hotel Management. After graduating BHMCT 2016- 2020, equipped with the comprehensive education and industry-focused training from our esteemed institute, I embarked on a path of professional growth and success.

Beginning at a captivating five-star resort nestled in the scenic landscapes of Jim Corbett in 2021, I witnessed the seamless blend of nature and luxury in the hospitality industry. Driven by an unwavering passion for hospitality, I then seized an opportunity to join the corporate office of Marriott international in Gurugram in 2022. Working alongside a team of talented professionals, I demonstrated my dedication and earned three promotions, ultimately attaining the position of Senior Luxury Sales Executive. My commitment and exceptional service were acknowledged when I was honoured as the Marriott Employee of the Quarter for both Q1 and Q2 of 2022.

Yearning for new challenges and a global perspective, I embraced an internal transfer within the Marriott international   family. This led me to Residence Inn by Marriott Sheikh Zayed Road in Dubai, where I thrived as a Revenue and Reservation Specialist. Serving a diverse international clientele in one of the world’s most vibrant cities, I gained valuable insights into revenue management strategies, expanded my cultural awareness, and fostered connections with industry professionals from around the globe.

I owe a significant part of my success to the education and guidance received at Amrapali Institute of Hotel Management. The comprehensive curriculum and practical training provided me with the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in the competitive hospitality industry. The unwavering support and mentorship of our esteemed faculty members played a pivotal role in shaping my professional growth.

As an alumnus of Amrapali Institute of Hotel Management, I am passionate about giving back to our college community. I am eager to share my experiences and insights with current students, aspiring to inspire and guide the next generation of hospitality professionals, just as I was once inspired and guided.
